When we were approached by LA7 to produce this short commercial, we were asked to create it entirely from scratch by focusing on the main feature of the cloud app that allows the user to reach a higher number of sales (up to 387 per second) while also allowing some space for the other ones.
Shocking the main character with huge concrete numbers, falling through his roof was a funny way to introduce the blazing list of features, that kept going like a whirlwind of abstract and imaginary moments.
We wanted the main character to feel lively, so we choose to animate it in frame by frame, and kept most of the other animation as frame by frame as possible.
Once composited, the sound designer rocked out an amazing set of sound effects to compliment the visuals.
